It’s that time of the year again. Holiday cheer, presents and carols. That time when we look back at at what we accomplished and recap. But even more so at what we failed to do and feel guilty for failing to
- lose that weight
- go to the gym
- read (more)
- learn that extra skill
- give or receive more feedback
- express gratitude
And yet somehow we think that if we write down a list and force ourselves to do it we will do it and stick to it. What’s the difference? I’ll start
- on Monday
- 1st of next month
- January 1st
It never works, at least not for me. And believe me, I tried.
I will take my time to recap, celebrate my successes, analyse my failures and let go. No resolutions, no homework.
